Onstar went ahead on make believe Character this season. What do you think about this?

Photobucket  It's Christmas 2009 and Santa’s got himself a new sleigh and you can bet your lump of coal it’s Wired. The jolly fat man in the red suit stopped by the OnStar Command center this week to pick up a whip that will make his gift-giving cannonball run safer than ever. And for the first time, you can follow his journey from the seat of your OnStar-connected vehicle.

It's what they call "Star Duster 5000 sleigh" it  includes reindeer health diagnostics to alert him to any hungry or knackered reindeer, turn-by-turn navigation to help him find the homes of all those good little boys and girls and, of course, hands-free calling gonna have them we don’t really want him taking his hands off the reins if Mrs. Claus is calling to check up on him.

Onstar said,
“We are honored to help the world’s busiest traveler find his way this holiday season,” Scott Kubicki, OnStar vp said with tongue firmly in cheek. “We know with our core suite of services, Santa’s travels will be much easier.”
The OnStar OnBoard Santa’s Sleigh got a technology upgrade in partnership with the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD), OnStar allows subscribers to follow Santa’s global journey beginning at 6 a.m. EST on Christmas Eve. Subscribers simply push the blue OnStar button in their vehicle and request a “Santa Update." An OnStar Advisor will give children and the kid-at-heart updates on Santa’s journey.
